Getting started & what to expect
How do I use SEOAmazing? (step by step)
- Add your site and paste the one-line pixel snippet into your
<head>. That’s the only code you ever touch. - We crawl your pages automatically and analyze titles, meta, schema, headings, internal links, and Core Web Vitals.
- Review the AI recommendations — edit any wording you like. Nothing is live yet.
- Approve, and the change ships instantly through the pixel (and is pre-rendered for AI bots that can’t run JavaScript).
- Go further (optional): generate AI articles, run Recon missions, track your AI-search visibility, and connect a CMS to auto-publish.
What should I expect after installing the pixel?
Within a few minutes your first crawl finishes and a queue of AI recommendations appears for review. You stay in full control — nothing changes on your live site until you approve it. Once approved, visitors see the optimized page immediately, and AI crawlers get a fully pre-rendered version with your SEO baked in. You don't need to redeploy or edit your CMS at any point.
How long does each step take?
- Install the pixel: ~2 minutes (paste one tag).
- First crawl: a few minutes for most sites; up to ~15–30 min for very large sites.
- Recommendations ready: within minutes of the crawl finishing.
- Approved change goes live: near-instant — usually visible within 1–2 minutes as the edge CDN updates.
- AI article generation: roughly 1–3 minutes per article.
- Recon mission: typically 1–5 minutes, running in the background — you’ll get a summary and downloadable artifacts when it’s done.
- AI-visibility (GEO) sweep: a few minutes; runs on demand, plus automatically on a daily (Pro/Agency) or weekly (Starter) cadence.
Meaningful ranking and AI-answer improvements are an ongoing process — expect to see early wins within the first couple of weeks as approved changes are indexed, and compounding gains as you keep approving and publishing.
What does each part of the app do?
- Overview: your dashboard of health scores, gauges, and recent activity.

Do I need to be technical to use it?
No. The only technical step is pasting one script tag in your site's <head> — most site builders and CMSs have a field for exactly this (Header/Custom Code). Everything after that is point-and-click: review, edit, approve. If you can copy-paste, you can run SEOAmazing.
The pixel & SEO changes
How does the pixel actually change my pages?
You paste one <script> tag in your site’s <head>. On each page load it fetches a small JSON ruleset from our edge CDN and applies the approved changes — title tags, meta descriptions, schema, alt text, internal links — at render time. Your source HTML and CMS are never touched; the edits are applied in the browser (and pre-rendered for bots).
Will the pixel slow down my site?
No. It's under 8 KB gzipped, loads with defer so it never blocks paint, and is wrapped so it can't throw an error into your page. If our CDN were ever unreachable, your page renders exactly as it would without the pixel.
Do the changes persist if I remove the snippet?
Pixel-applied changes are live only while the snippet is installed. Remove the tag and your pages revert to their original HTML. Permanent 'commit to source' (writing changes back into your CMS via a PR or API) is on our roadmap.
Can I edit a recommendation before it goes live?
Yes. Every AI recommendation is editable in the review screen. Nothing goes live until you approve it — you're always in control of the exact text that ships.
How do AI crawlers see my content?
A separate prerender proxy serves fully-rendered HTML — with your approved SEO baked in — to AI bots that can't run JavaScript (GPTBot, ClaudeBot, PerplexityBot). So your optimized content shows up correctly in AI answers, not just traditional search.
Recon missions & credits
What are Recon missions?
Recon runs autonomous browser-agent 'missions' for you — things like site audits, competitor content scans, and lead-list building. You describe the task (or pick a mission), it runs in the background, and you get a summary plus downloadable artifacts (PDFs, CSVs, briefs) when it finishes.
How do credits work?
Each mission shows its credit cost up front before you run it, along with the approximate dollar value (credits are roughly $0.03 each). Credits are only spent when a mission actually runs — previewing a mission is free. Your plan includes a monthly credit allotment; see Billing for details.
Can I schedule missions to run automatically?
Yes. Missions can be scheduled on a cadence (for example, a weekly competitor scan). Scheduled runs consume credits the same way manual runs do, and you can enable, disable, or delete a schedule at any time.
Billing & cancellation
How does billing work?
Plans are monthly subscriptions handled through Stripe. Each plan sets limits on sites, articles, and included credits. You can upgrade, downgrade, or view usage anytime on the Billing page.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Open the Stripe customer portal from the Billing page and cancel in a couple of clicks. Your plan stays active until the end of the current billing period — no cancellation fees, no lock-in.
What happens to my SEO changes if I cancel?
Your approved recommendations stay in your account. Once your subscription lapses the pixel stops serving new rulesets, and you can remove the snippet at any time to fully revert your pages.
Is there a free plan?
Yes — you can start free and upgrade when you need more sites, articles, or credits. Compare plans on the Billing page.
Data & privacy
What data do you store about my site?
We store the pages we crawl (their HTML and metadata), the recommendations we generate, and the rulesets that power your pixel. We do not collect data about your site's visitors — the pixel only applies SEO changes; it isn't an analytics or tracking script.
Are my API keys and secrets safe?
Deploy keys and platform secrets are read from the server environment at runtime and are never exposed in the customer dashboard. The account settings you see never contain infrastructure credentials.
Is my workspace isolated from other customers?
Yes. The platform is multi-tenant from the ground up — every query is scoped to your workspace server-side via your auth token, so your sites, content, and missions are never visible to another tenant.
Do you use my content to train AI models?
No. Your content is used only to generate recommendations and articles for your own account. We don't sell your data or use it to train third-party models.
